A few words about EC2
The Europe-China Clean Energy Centre (EC2) a five-year cooperation project funded by the European Union and founded in April 2010 by the European Commission, the National Energy Administration of China and the Ministry of Commerce of China, with the support of the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea.
The Centre is managed by a consortium of nine partners - six European and three Chinese - led by Politecnico di Torino (Italy).
EC2's main tasks are to promote an increased use of clean energy in China and to support the Chinese Government's efforts to shape a more sustainable, environmental friendly and efficient energy sector.

ICARE, China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy in Wuhan is organizing its third advanced training course form June 18th to 20th, 2013 in Shanghai, at Tongji University. On March 5, 2013, the Europe-China Clean Energy Centre (EC2) organised the workshop - EC2 Demo Zone Toolkit Review Session. The aim of the event was to share and to discuss the draft EC2 Demo Zone Toolkit and to collect valuable inputs to tailor it to Chinese needs and culture. On March 7, 2013, the Europe-China Clean Energy Centre (EC2) invited representatives of the main stakeholders, including donor institutions, partners, scientific & advisory boards, governmental institutions and private companies to assess EC2 third year implementation (running from April 2012 to March 2013) and to draw lessons for the next annual work plan.EC2 Co-directors and EC2 Liaison officer presented the achievements against set targets.
